Scabble Club

The Signal Hill Scrabble Club has made its name since it entered the National Secondary School Competitions in 2003. The club was started by  Mrs Lookeitha Callender( now retired) and assisted by Ms Jenelle Moore and Lenetta Cowie-Clarke. Today the club is managed by Mrs. Pearl Alman George. The club has produced very outstanding players since its inception.

 

Solomon Craig: represented the school and was successful in almost all tournament entered. Most notably was his 2008 Secondary School Scrabble Tournament competition where he broke the record for the highest points difference (pd) of 1522. He also won Most Bonus Words, Highest Single Play and Highest GameSolomon has moved on to represent Trinidad and Tobago at regional tournaments.

 

Kadisha Kent: Very outstanding player whoseveral times in the Tobago zone and placed second overall in 2008 and third in 2009 in the National Tournament.

         Recent Achievement.

 

       2011- Tamika  and Shenqua  positioned the school in Second Place in the  national Secondary School Competition.

 

       2009- School placed Second Place in the Seniors Category with Tamika Mitchell and Kadisha Kent leading the team.
